The Benefits of Red Light Therapy

Specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light penetrate the skin and reach the mitochondria — the energy-producing units of every cell. Drug-free, non-invasive, and clinically proven, Red Light Therapy and Hyper Vibration are two of the therapies I now offer at the Bryanston rooms to support recovery, skin quality, sleep, and metabolism.

Life responds to light — red light therapy, drug-free, non-invasive, clinically proven

Life responds to light. Specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light penetrate the skin and reach the mitochondria — the energy-producing units of every cell. The light stimulates ATP production, reduces inflammation, supports collagen synthesis, and accelerates recovery. In my practice I pair it with hyper-vibration to deepen the effect.

It is used clinically for skin quality and collagen, hair regrowth, joint pain, post-exercise recovery, mood regulation, thyroid support, sleep improvement, wound healing, and — on early evidence — cognitive performance.

What a session looks like

You lie down (no standing), eyes covered, for a relaxed full-body session at the Bryanston rooms. There is no discomfort, no downtime, and no preparation needed.

Red light for weight loss

The 30-minute weight-loss programme includes a full-body assessment (visceral fat percentage, muscle and more) before and after the programme. Over a course of sessions, red light therapy can:

  • Stimulate blood flow and circulation
  • Boost metabolism
  • Burn glucose and turn it into energy
  • Support centimetre and visceral fat reduction
  • Balance thyroid and hormones
  • Improve sleep quality
  • Reduce inflammation

Whether you are recovering from an injury, working on your skin and collagen, or looking to support your metabolism and sleep, red light therapy is a gentle, drug-free addition to your wellness routine — and it pairs beautifully with the other tools we use for women over 40.
